What subscribing here does
Thanks for coming along with me this far. Here's the deal with subscriptions, or Why Subscribing is Good:
A Free subscription basically just signs you up for my mailing list– I put out a very occasional series of email updates about upcoming shows and releases, and I look forward to keeping you in the loop about these.
A Paid subscription signs you up for the mailing list, and also allows you to freely download music in high quality from different places: all of the self-released albums and singles from the Store section of the site, shows from the Live Show Archive section of the site, which are in the process of becoming free for all visitors anyway, and the elevations series beyond the paywall, which is a collection of improvisations and home studio experiments, mostly recorded from 2024-2025.
A paid subscription is only $3 per month. If you want to pay more, that's most welcome too and there's an option to do so! But I want to keep the cost low to encourage more folks to turn out, and that being what it is, I think it's a really good deal.
Many more shows have yet to be added from 2026, 2025, 2024, and further back, and of course, shows I have yet to play. I look forward to making them available here.
I record nearly everything, and sometimes other people record shows in higher quality than I'm able to. Downloads are available as better-than-cd-quality WAVs (24bit/48khz),
Subscription fees go to site maintenance and to help sustain the work that I do. Many thanks for your support!
