Formed in May 2022, the Longband plays folk-rock interwoven with deeply psychedelic improvisation, drawing from North American and British Isles song traditions and expanding outward. With two, sometimes three lead vocalists and three soloists, the band is well-suited to a two-set format spanning up to three hours, while being ready to scale things back according to the situation. The People's Longband is currently booking for summer 2024 and beyond.
